No shortage of words exist for the bittersweet feeling of watching your kids grow up, but I decided to add a few of my own.
A bunch of albums I've been listening to and enjoying this year. A very short 1 sentence write-up on all of them. My nominal Top 10 (in No Order):

Describe the color "red" using tastes.
Is it sweet like strawberry or cherry? Or sour, like cranberries?
Spicy like an Arbol pepper? All those are contradictory, and really
inadequate descriptions. And to a person who has never seen red before,
like a person blind from birth, describing "red" in any term is
impossible.
One thing I'd like to do in this blog is write, some, about music. I've
been thinking about dabbling in concert photography, and writing and
talking about music would be helpful in multiple ways. Much like how
taking a picture helps me connect with a location, as described in my last blog post, writing about something helps me think about it more.
I knew a photo could be marvelous. What I didn't expect was that the process of taking a photo also invokes awe. Searching for a scene is one of profound intimacy. Photography forces me to slow down and be cognizant of my surroundings; taking in all the details that normally would pass me by.
This is a sample blog post. Just using it to set up formatting and trying to figure out the best way to display it. Here's some text from my favorite book: The Three Musketeers
